Elisabeths Mutter kam zu uns mit der Bitte um Hilfe. Sie ist alleinerziehend mit drei Kindern und lebt auf einer der vielen Inseln im Victoriasee. Die kleine Elisabeth ist körperlich und geistig sehr schwer beeinträchtigt. Elisabeth wog nur 8 kg bei ihrer Ankunft im Juli 2023. Dank unserer engagierten Betreuerinnen, die Elisabeth mit viel Liebe und Geduld fünfmal am Tag das Essen anreichen, hat sie schon 6 kg zugenommen und fängt an, körperlich und geistig am Leben teilzunehmen. Elisabeth beobachtet alles und zeigt mit ihrem Lachen, dass das Leben schön ist! Elisabeth hätte so gerne eine Patin oder einen Paten!
Elisabeth’s mother came to us with a request for help. She is a single mother of three children and lives on one of the many islands in Lake Victoria. Elisabeth is severely mentally and physically challenged. When we received her into our care in July 2023 she weighed only 17 lbs! Thanks to the loving care of our caregivers who feed her five times a day she has gained 11 lbs already! Elisabeth has started to participate in everything that is going on around her. She loves to watch the other children. Her big smile always tells us that life is just beautiful! Elisabeth would love to have a sponsor!
